Standing on their hotel Veranda overlooking a beautiful beach sunset, Hemp and Denim both knew that they were experiencing a really special moment. Follow Your Heart was inspired by that moment in time and written while they were on vacation. Denim wanted to capture that feeling and suggested they use their time there to shoot a music video for the song. With two days left of the trip and no beaches in Nashville to shoot at, they got right to it. Videographer Heath Franklin was able to record over the next two days there, despite what the weather was looking like and sent the footage to video editor Shawn Hudgins back in the city. Denim recalls, “The joy we felt as we were creating this video really comes through when you see it. It was almost magical how it all came together.” The feel-good song perfectly “The moral of the story is it all worked out great because we followed our hearts,” says Hemp. “We hope everyone does the same when they listen to this song and watch the video. Find what your destiny is and go for it.” The gorgeous beaches of Pass-a-Grille Beach, FL will transport you straight to summer and as you listen to the lyrics.
